Cathryn J. “Jean” Nicklas, 80, of Spokane, Wash., and a former Kankakee County resident, died Oct. 23, 2009, in Spokane, following an extended illness. Cremation rites were accorded. A memorial service was held Oct. 25 at the Westgate Christian Church in Spokane.
