Grundy County authorities hope an autopsy scheduled for this morning will reveal the cause of death of a 50-year-old man found lying outside his Goose Lake area home near Coal City. 
Grundy County Coroner John Callahan is withholding the man’s identity pending notification of family.

Police were called to the scene at 4:35 p.m. Thursday when friends of the man discovered him.
