Police say a school bus driver in northern Illinois faces child endangerment charges for allegedly slamming on the brakes because she was angry at kids on her bus.Huntley police say of 54 students on board, one child went to an Elgin hospital and paramedics treated 18 others at the scene. The children, ranging from 5 to 10 years old, all had minor injuries.Julieta Clinton of Lake in the Hills was arrested Wednesday and charged with 19 counts of reckless conduct and 19 counts of child endangerment, both misdemeanors. The 37-year-old was released on $100 bond and assigned a May 22 court date. Her telephone number is unlisted.
Consolidated School District 158 Superintendent John Burkey says Clinton has been dismissed.
