• Federal agents raided the Outlaws Motorcycle Club on South Washington Avenue in Kankakee on Wednesday afternoon. It was one of several raids made on the group in Chicago and the suburbs.

• Bradley police release photos from a security camera taken during a Monday robbery of the alleged robbers of the Circle K Shell on Kinzie Avenue.

•  Grain elevators at Danforth, Gilman and LaHogue will become part of the Ludlow Cooperative Elevator Co. on Friday. The resulting 10-elevator co-op will serve substantial portions of Iroquois, Ford and Champaign counties. Ludlow Co-op has facilities at Del Rey, Buckley, Loda, Paxton, Clarence, Perdueville and Ludlow.

• After months of squabbling with lawmakers over a proposed statewide construction program, Gov. Rod Blagojevich now says he is willing to scale down the plan.  It’s about time, some lawmakers say.

• The bus demolition derby was one of the highlights of the opening day of the Kankakee County Fair on Wednesday.
