CHICAGO (AP) — WBBM-TV said morning anchor Randy Salerno was killed Thursday evening while snowmobiling with friends in Eagle River, Wis.
The Emmy-winning reporter began working at the CBS station in 2004. Before that, he spent 11 years at Chicago’s WGN-TV as an anchor and reporter. He also worked at stations in Albany, N.Y., and Peoria.
