Dorothy Culkin Evans, 96, of Cullom, died Thursday (Sept. 24, 2009) at 11:40 a.m. at Livingston Manor, Pontiac. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Cullom, where the rosary will be recited at 3:45 p.m. Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Catholic Church in Cullom with Monsignor Thomas Mack officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery at Cullom. Memorials in Dorothy’s name may be made to St. John’s Catholic Church, OSF Hospice or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Eugene F. Schultz, 88, of Watseka, formerly of Martinton, died Friday (Sept. 25, 2009) at Merkle-Knipprath Catholic Home in Clifton. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the 11:30 a.m. funeral service at the Baier Funeral Home in Watseka. Father Lee Ryan will officiate.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka. Memorials may be made to St. Edmund Catholic Church, where he was a member; the American Cancer Society; or to the donor’s choice.
