• The international charity “Feed the Children” is shipping 160 backpacks filled with school supplies and food to 160 of the 300 homeless students who attend I-KAN regional schools.

Will County under winter weather advisory
The National Weather Service in Chicago announced this morning that Will County would be under a winter weather advisory until 3 p.m. today.
Snow, heavy at times, will continue this afternoon. Three to 5 inches of wet and heavy snow is expected.
This may cause tree branches to break and power outages.
Also beware of slippery road conditions.
