CHICAGO (AP) — ABC Radio Network says broadcasting pioneer Paul Harvey has died at the age of 90.
The Charter One Bank in Wilmington, was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash at about 2 p.m. Friday.
A man handed the bank teller a note demanding money and walked out with the case, Wilmington police reported.

• Moments after receiving the annual Provena St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation Servant Leaders award, Don and Kay Green said their hometown of Kankakee and its people were the real winners.
• Legislation aimed at forcing the Illinois Court of Claims to do right by the families of veterans who have been killed in the line of duty was approved unanimously by the Illinois House on Wednesday.
• The Illinois Senate on Thursday unanimously approved Sen. Gary Dahl’s resolution declaring March 13 to be “Pluto Day” in Illinois. It also honors Illlinois-native Clyde Tombaugh, who discovered the erstwhile planet on that date in 1930.
• State parks that were shuttered last year were reopened Thursday by Gov. Pat Quinn, who announced a renewed commitment to preserving the state’s natural areas.
